Small business success can be hard to come by. According to statistics from the US Small Business Administration, less than half of all small businesses survive after a four-year period. What’s an entrepreneur to do?

I’m about halfway to that four-year mark in my own home-based business. I’m happy to report my business is already profitable and I’m living the lifestyle I want as a direct result of what my home-based business brings to my family. I get to spend time with my little girls, ages three and five doing the “Mom thing” by day, and I get to run my internet-based communication consulting and coaching business after the girls’ bedtime.

One evening it occurred to me that those little girls have taught me a lot about running a successful business. I thought I’d share their lessons with you, too.

Lesson 1: Less is More

When the play room has toys strewn all over the place, deciding what to play with is challenging and my kids jump from one toy to the next, never really getting much enjoyment from any of them. But when the room is clear and they choose just one toy to play with, they’re in heaven. A solo professional wears so many hats– but you can’t wear them all at once. So choose an activity and get it sex amateure before moving on to the next thing.

Lesson 2: Everything is Negotiable

When my three year old wants something she’ll keep on negotiating until she gets it. You can do the same thing in your business. Find a way to get what you want.

Lesson 3: Saying “I Can’t” Won’t Get the Job Done

My husband has taught our girls “I can’t” is a “bad word.” Now instead of “I can’t do this,” my five year old says, “I’m having a hard time with this.” And she’ll either ask for help or keep trying herself until she gets it right. Is there something you’re struggling with where you could use some help? Or is it something you know if you keep at, you’ll get there? Whatever it is… you can do it.

Lesson 4: Turn the Box

About a year ago when my youngest daughter was playing with a box-like shape-sorter toy, she couldn’t figure out how to get the square peg into a round hole. But then I saw the light bulb go on when she simply turned the box. She could see right where the square peg should go. Take a step back from your business, turn the box, and get a different perspective.

Lesson 5: Do Things When You’re Ready On Your Own Terms

In March this year, my three year old started preschool. Yep, in the middle of the year. Why? She was ready. What are you ready to do? You don’t have to wait for anything to find success. When you are ready for it go after it.

Lesson 6: Routines Are Good

Like all kids, my girls do best when they can stick to a routine. You can create routines in your business– called systems. When you know when and how things should happen, it’s easy to move forward and watch your systems keep your business going like clockwork.

Lesson 7: Ask Questions (LOTS of Questions!)

All kids ask questions and mine are no different. They want to know why everything is the way it is and what’s for dinner and when we can go to Grandma’s again and on and on. When you ask questions you’ll find answers to things you need to know more about. I like to ask my clients questions to find out what’s on their minds and see how I can better serve them.

Lesson 8: Always Keep Learning

Children are in a perpetual state of learning. Somewhere along the way some people lose that zest for learning. But in business you must keep learning to be successful. Learn what’s new in your field, learn a new marketing skill, learn what works for your clients, learn a new technology, or anything that will help you.

Keep in mind these lessons from children and you too can see success as a solo professional.

Success in business comes from effective communication with your clients and prospects. The first thing you need to communicate– and continue to communicate — is your credibility. Prizes are like presents and they are highly appreciated. At a Dating Site you have many ways to nominate the best users: the most active, the most popular, the most beautiful, the funniest and so on. You can use rating feature to find out the most popular user. You can make a newsletter for all the members and ask them to estimate the users and email you their opinions via “Contact us” form. There’s one minus: you’ll have to count the results yourself manually.
There’s sometimes a poll module and you can also use it to know what presents your users prefer and their expectations for the next year. This will entertain them on the site.
If there’s a forum, make a new section and devote it to Christmas and Dating. I’m sure many users will share their stories and will be glad to read others. Besides, you can give prizes for the best story. All is open for you if you have imagination! Just do it!
And the last point, note that your site is based on people who are there and we do all the changes to make them inspired by the New Year. So we should involve them into the celebration.
In your newsletter, at the homepage of each user or just contact emails ask them to renew their photo galleries and icons. Set the manual approve for the uploads and check the images they upload. I mean there should be photos with Christmas trees and in costumes, with presents and pets. No doubt that you should imform users about it and I’m sure they’ll like the idea. In that case your search results will be very attractive and the holiday atmosphere will be created.
Well, I can go on. In fact if you do not have a Dating Site yet, you should get one cause it inspires for great things. It makes us think and create, especially on holidays. And I’m often inspired by those ideas in the Net and start creating, though I don’t have a Dating Site. But I can share my ideas with you and may be you’ll be profiting from them…

Here is an easy, inexpensive and fun kid experiment for your next kid birthday party.

This activity, which is strictly speaking a kid science experiment, can be used in any party as entertainment. Even better: have a “Mad Chemist” theme and use this idea as one of sex blondinen kid experiments.

Fill a plate or saucer with milk and put in a few drops of food coloring on top of the milk in different spots. The smaller the drops the better.

Valentines Day Popcorn Cake

1 cup butter
32 marshmallows
16 cups popped popcorn
1 cup conversation heart candy
1 cup chocolate covered peanuts
1 cup red hot candies

Melt butter and marshmallows in a large heavy pan over low heat. Stir often.
Put popcorn into large pan. Pour marshmallow mixture over top. Stir and mix well. Add peanuts and candy. Mix together.

Put mixture into a well greased angel food cake pan or cake pan.
The deeper the pan the better the cake will look when you place it on your cake plate.

How to Put the House Together:

Then use the melted chocolate to adhere the candies to the house. Sprinkle with powdered sugar for a frosting of light snow.

Sense of humor -

Being adventuresome and humorous will help get your foot in the door nearly every time with that special someone you’re attracted to, provided all these other attributes come along with the package. Again, this is one of those attributes that take care of the boredom issue. Does it mean that you always have to be the life of the party? No, but you do need to be able to take criticisms and jokes with a smile.

Status -

Being in a powerful position or being a strong leader has always appealed to women. It’s just how they have evolved throughout the centuries. The ability to survive combined with substantial resources (a.k.a. assets) will get you a significantly higher emotional rating with a woman than if you are lacking in these areas. Not all women are asset-conscious, they just want security both emotionally and physically.

Style -

Last but not least is your overall appearance on the outside. You may be the best person out there — big hearted, caring, kind, and passionate — but if it doesn’t appear to her that you care about how you look, you are dead in the water, pure and simple. The city of Longview, Texas, is a Located off Interstate 20, a little over a hundred miles east of Dallas. It’s a town of about 70,000 people, and Pissing Sex a lot of them have been talking about what is going on at a local business called Don’s Fly Thru Beer Barn.

You see, Don had a problem. His business requires folks to sit in their car and drive through a long garage-like building where customers can buy beer without getting out of their car. But when traffic got backed up a bit, people were getting impatient and driving off - and not buying any of Don’s beer.

Don must have sat down and thought about what he learned at Disney World. Now those folks have a system. If you’ve been there you know that stagnant lines for rides and other attractions are made more bearable by TV monitors with things to watch, and even sketch artists and other acts that distract the people in crowds while they are in line. Disney rule: if you provide entertainment for people in line they aren’t quite as ornery about the time it is taking.

So Don put in a hot tub. A real nice one, by the look of the pictures. Then he stuck some girls in the tub so now the folks waiting in line would have somebody to talk to. Or at least look at, if they were shy about that type of thing.

Now this is strictly a G-rated hot tub, there are no naked women, just very attractive ladies in bathing suits, straw hats, and big, friendly smiles. The ladies are known as “Don’s Darlings”, and they are causing quite a stir around town, as well as improving Don’s business. He says the hot tub gimmick is making him a lot of money.

A local TV station even ran a video feature on the Fly Thru Beer Barn, and of course the local paper is happy to provide some pictures.

Don Talley is the very creative owner of the Beer Barn. He says that most of the women are single moms, and he’s helping them out by offering them honest work. A local newspaper ad said he was offering health benefits and even cosmetic surgery. They work for eight hours a day, and Don seems to have no problem finding women who are willing to staff the tub. And no wonder - how many jobs can you find where you get paid to sit all day in a hot tub in the sun, working on your tan and and flirting with men?

As it turns out, sex does sell — or at least it keeps male customers around long enough to buy some beer. But this is not a hot party tub, nobody is nude, and most folks in the area consider it pretty harmless. You’d probably see more skin at a swimming pool.

Ever the entrepreneur, Don says that sometimes his female Fly Thru Beer Barn customers will also get a treat — once a week he’ll give the women a day off and staff the tub with hunky men.

Okay, so in part 1 of my article, I covered fundamental #1 to making friends with the internet marketing giants and getting them on your side.

Now let’s move on to the next four fundamentals you should adhere to in order to make the best of your marketing seminars.

Lesson #2: Establish yourself as someone of expertise by asking interesting and insightful questions (i.e. don’t be stupid).

Ask intelligent questions or even making helpful (note the operative word being “helpful“) suggestions and not being afraid to be in the spotlight. This is one of the best ways for you to set yourself apart from others in the audience and make people think “oohhh, that person has something of value and I should find out what it is” and want to come talk to you.

In a sense think about others who Porno Cams less knowledgeable than you are in that particular area - by asking an intelligent question not only are you demonstrating an understanding of the topic but you are also doing thema favor by asking the question they were too afraid to ask themselves.

Lesson #3: Gurus are nice (for the most part) and are more than happy to help you if they deem you are worthy and are genuine.

Let me explain.

At the seminar, I did the unthinkable and the unreasonable. Not only did I initiate contact with the gurus and probed for more details, I also created the possibility of getting them to come online and do interviews with us!

While many of us think that gurus are the “untouchables” and that they couldn’t care less about who’s in the audience since they already make $x bazillions dollars - I’ve found this to be absolutely false. What you have to realize is that each of these gurus are just like you and me. They sex video had to start SOMEWHERE.

And odds are, where they started isn’t very far off from where you are at now.

And more importantly, odds are that someone in their lives gave them a helping hand to get them where they are now.

As long as you are authentic and sincere (and friendly), they’d more than happy to chat with you and address your questions and provide advice (within reason of course). This leads to #4…

Lesson #4: Offer something of value to the gurus - how can you help THEM??

You can imagine how some people would take advantage of #3 and just hassle the heck out of the gurus for “favors“. What these newbies are forgetting is one of the cardinal rules of marketing/business/life. The “What’s In It For Me” (W.I.I.F.M.) principle.

Those folks who are pestering the heck out of gurus, chomping at the bits, are basically trying to get something for nothing. Never mind that these gurus just gave their best X minutes on a stage presenting the very knowledge being sought after. Never mind that these noobs didn’t even bother doing some research beforehand (not to mention that they didn’t even bother purchasing the guru’s product)…

You see, we all should learn to stop feeling so entitled. Don’t think “oh, the guru’s already making millions of dollars, he/she SHOULD help me now…“

Balooney. The gurus don’t owe you jack.

Want to know how to get their attention? Offer something of value to them. Ask them how you can help THEM for a change. Give them access to your list for example; promote them on your humble site/list; anything… SOMETHING. At the very least acknowledge that it is only out of their kindness that they are helping you.

Take me for example. It is only through adding value back to Mike Dillard and Tim Erway (couple of MLM experts) and doing my best to offer whatever help we can did they take note of me. It was only after I studied their system religiously and sucked in all their teachings did I start separating myself from the crowd.

So ask yourself this when you are speaking to gurus - what are YOU doing for THEM?

Lesson #5: Take pictures with the gurus and send it to them so they’ll remember you.

Okay… this is almost cheating but it works. Like they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. Be bold and be different… ask a guru for a picture after chatting with them for a bit. Tell them you’ll send them the picture when you get home and do it! After all, who doesn’t like seeing a picture of themselves in their inbox?

Not only will they get a lovely picture of their own face in their inbox, they’ll also get a picture of you and this will help them remember you… This makes it easier getting in touch with them for any other endeavors (see #3 and #4).

Lastly, let your list know! “Hey, look at me! I was at *blankity blank* and met *blankity blank*.” This shows you are active in the field and are constantly learning new things from other gurus.

One last note… do give the guru credit by letting people know who he/she is and linking to his/her site.

And there you have it folks. Next time you get a chance to go to a top caliber seminar… DO IT! You never know what sort of information, ideas, and contacts you can get out of it (odds are, you’ll get TONS)!
